Ghost?

Last night, after getting home from Kyle’s mom’s house (we had stew and peachberry pie…yum!), Kyle and I watched “Alpha Dog”, before he left for his room.  I had class in the morning at 8, and he tucked me in before he left.  I went to sleep with my firm pillow (made especially for side sleepers, which I am), and put my squishy-er pillow on the ground next to the head of my bed.

It didn’t take me long to go to sleep.  At about 2 a.m., I woke up because I was too warm.  I moved around a bit, cooling myself off in the process.  I fell back asleep.

Then, at 7:11 a.m., I woke up again, because my pillow was too squishy for me, and wasn’t giving me the support my neck needed.  I laid in bed, rolling, and repositioning, until my alarm went off at 7:32 a.m.

I jumped out of bed, shut the alarm off, and stretched.

That’s when I noticed something was wrong.

On the head of the bed was the squishy pillow.

Okay, so you see this picture and think, “So what? Cheez-Its.  Everyone loves those.”  (I do love Cheez-Its, actually.)

But those aren’t my Cheez-Its, and that’s my desk.  Those are my roommate’s Cheez-Its, and they are usually on a tub with the rest of her food.  I don’t eat her food.  When I went to sleep, they were on the tub with the rest of her snack food.

So, this picture is strange already.  Because after all, who puts their pillow on their desk?  Let me explain.

That is the pillow I went to sleep with.

That is my roommate’s desk.  (Notice pictures of her and her boyfriend.)

This is what I wake up to when I have class at 8 a.m.

I’m still trying to figure this out.
