Spring! (And Care Package!)

The snow is almost all melted off and I can see grass again!  Although it’s a little soggy, and not green at all, just the sight makes me extremely happy.  I’ve been keeping my window open at night, and I’ve been sleeping fantastically.

But even the nice, warm weather can’t make me feel better after forgetting about a mythology test.  I missed class the other day because I didn’t feel up to going, and now I regret it.  I finished in 30 minutes, and headed to the mailroom, hoping in my head, “I hope I get a care package to make me feel better….”.  Well, I did.

This was enough to make me feel better :) I’ll do swatches of the makeup soon.  Thank you, Stacia! <3

Edited to add:

You guys, I totally forgot to do my love list!  I explained this last Friday…It’s a list of the things I loved this week:

  1. Getting a care package filled to the brim with things I LOVE.  Thank you so much Stacia!  I feel like I can’t thank you enough!  You always cheer me up :)
  2. Spring is finally here!  The weather is warm enough that I actually wore flip flops for about an hour (but ending up with mud under my feet, and cold toes).
  3. Watching my plants flourish!  I actually tossed out my polka dot plant (it was dying so fast.  I didn’t have the heart to watch it.  I also felt really bad that I didn’t give it an extra week to possibly come back.  I almost cried.  Sad, right?) today to make room for the soon to be sprouted Spearmint and Chamomile plants.  I can’t wait.
  4. I’m only supposed to do three (I don’t know why, that’s just the rules!), but I’m also loving my new haircut.  It’s nothing special, just 3/4 inch off, and some bangs added, but I feel like a brand new woman!  With spring in the air, and a new look, I’m ready for a new season! :)

What did you enjoy this week?  Have a great weekend!

    • P.S. And my Mother came up with the idea of buying Christmas gifts for you all on her own! She’s only got one grandchild (17-year-old Nicole) to spoil. Stay on her good side, if you know what I mean…
